Well it's about time they was done for non-use.I mean how idle do you have to be, to not use them,or is it the classic modern day attitude- f*ck everyone else,i'm alright Jack.

Tim,
They are introducing daytime running lights later this year, compulsory on all new cars so I guess that's going to be the case. I expct you've seen all the newer cars with those LED front strip lights.. they will soon be on all cars. They are also trying to ban the new HID lights that lots of cars have, those very bright lights that often look blue from a certain angle, they say they dazzle other road users. I agree with you, displaying lights should be compulsory during winter time.

Another thing that seems to be happening increasingly here is that drivers and/or their passengers feel the need to drive around with their arms waving about out the window. Our road rules (probably yours do to) state that if the indicator lights aren't functioning then the driver should indicate with hand signals. With these dipsticks driving around with no blinkers and arms pointing in all directions it's very hard to work out just what their intentions are and if they are indeed, signalling their intentions.
