I live about 600 yards from the exchange so I should get fast broadband As for motor bikes I used to have a triumph bonny but that was many moons ago

Ah.. The Triumph Bonneville, I too had one of those, it was hopeless, couldn't go anywhere on it before something fell off. Remember the Amal carburettors? the ends used to unscrew themselves after about 50 miles and the petrol would go everywhere. Also I swear the tyres had vaseline in the mix, they were so slippy you could fall off anywhere. Now I stick to Japanese machinery, reliable and fast.
Maybe we should write a book Clack?

Maybe we should - there must be enough "clean" stuff on this site, already, to fill several volumes!

Seems we've gone from superfast broadband to superfast motorbikes! All good stuff... In answer to your question Badger, I used to have a GSXR600 and yes it would get 0-60 in around 3 seconds. Kept the username for a while now, even though I upgraded to an R1 which is even quicker. Unlike the broadband though I need to minimise the superfast riding to avoid any more points, or I'll be bussing it everywhere at superslow speeds :-)

Know the feeling about points.. I have quite a few and one in the pipeline, I drive an Evo 10 and have never really grasped the reality that you should slow down with age!! Looking for a nice clean VFR 800 if you know of any your way, looked at the VFR 1200 but stupid prices. Ride safe....

It might be "ready" but is it working? And what will it cost me? Probably an arm and a leg for the equivalent of "go faster stripes"!
